Advisory

I see today that if you click on the old blog url you'll get redirected to the message, "This blog is currently moving. This blog is currently moving to the new version of Blogger. Please try back in a little while."

Because Blogger incapacitated that site last June, they've given me no reason to expect anything good to come of this. So, just in case, I've archived it here. (Note, its subject index is incomplete, but all the posts and comments are there. The unindexed posts can be accessed through the monthly archive.)

And since Blogger has been threatening to do the same with this site, I've archived it as well. You can find it here.

In the event Blogger freezes us out again, make sure you've bookmarked the Rigorous Intuition home page. Worst case, we'll work something out from there.

Best case, see you here again May 1.

On Edit:

This is driving me mental.

I can edit my posts - for now - but I can't even comment on my own blog. When I try to sign in with my Google account, as "New Blogger" insists I do, it just refreshes the page, and tells me again to sign in.

Next time Blogger logs me out, I don't know if/when I'll be able to get back in. I've been meaning to jump to Wordpress on rigorousintuition.ca for months, but I may finally be pushed. (Though I still have issues over there, with frequent messages of exceeding CPU quota.)

So, if I'm not here May 1, look for version 3.0 at

I've installed Wordpress, but haven't done anything with it yet.

Did someone say Luddite? I think I'd be happier with a mimeograph machine.

On further edit:

Looks like I've transitioned alright to Blogger's other side. Which is fine by me, since I think I should stay put until I get the issue of a reliable host resolved.
